Over the past two years I have been working with my frequent collaborator, composer Peter Traub, on the visual content and exhibition display for his live, multimedia sound work, WoodEar: An Installation for a Tree and Network. On August 29th our largest and most complex installation of the piece to date will open at the University of Virginia’s Ruffin Gallery. For this iteration of the piece (which premiered last year at Pace University in New York), we were fortunate to have the opportunity to collaborate with dancer and choreographer Katie Schetlick on generating movement-based content and imagery, some of which will be performed live during the opening reception. Stay tuned for documentation of the exhibition and related events.

WoodEar was made possible by a grant from the UVA Arts Council.
