This fall, I will be a New Media Fellow at Binghamton University in NY. I will be leading a one-semester seminar and studio course in the Department of Cinema called “Fatalistic Encounters: Shifting from Sight to Site.”
The Wynn Newhouse Awards exhibition is up at the Palitz Gallery in New York City. I am showing a new sculpture and video on a monitor.
Woodear, a web-based application developed by my frequent collaborator Peter Traub, is currently enjoying its first exhibition at the Pace University Digital Gallery in lower Manhattan. I developed the videographic aspect of the installation.
I am extremely honored to have been awarded a Wynn Newhouse Grant this past January. The funds will allow me to complete a big bronze sculpture I’ve been working on while in Florida.
I was nominated for a Rema Hort Mann Award this past December. Although I wasn’t selected this year, I’m still very excited to be part of the online gallery and in the company of so many artists I admire. Check it out here.
